It has been so fun amidst the difficult times...we are so smitten with this little man! He is definitely one of those active boys who loves to run and romp around...we are rarely clean and always outside! We have been coated in sunscreen and bug spray in this humid south MS summer! Here are a few fun pictures of what we've been doing to entertain ourselves while we are in our little cocoon.
Sprinkler-ing!
Slip 'n' Slide!
Snoozing...(well, honestly, not much of this) :)
Scootering!
A couple of traumatic trips to the doctor...
Bubbles!
Learning to make mud-pies :)
Loving trying on clothes!
Being silly with Mommy
And not taking naps... :)
So far, T-man loves everything "mechina" (car), pancakes (which he calls farengi-injera), mangos and bananas, Gogurt, riding his bike (which he has almost mastered in 1 week! training wheels, of course), and riding on the lawn mower.
We are getting ready to hunker down at home for Hurricane/TS Isaac, so we would appreciate your prayers! Love to all!
Katie
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,"says the LORD, who has compassion on you."
Isaiah 54:10

Love the pictures of your precious boy! and I am laughing so hard over the farengi-injera, that is a hoot!
ReplyDeleteslip 'n' slide pictures...amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Court! Working on my photog skills :) It's hard to get him because he moves SO fast! :)
DeleteLove the ferengi injera! :) Thanks for sharing and hang in there! This is only a season, but such an important once - and through time you can see the results!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness!!! Cutest pictures ever!!! Praying for ya'll! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, might have laughed out loud at the farenji injera! Sintay was crowing with delight at seeing Tamirat's pictures. Praying for all of you as you face the hurricane during the trauma of the early days together.
ReplyDeletePraying for y'all. So much love in these pictures!
ReplyDeletePraying for you friend! I know GT will someday treasure these pictures of his first days home.
ReplyDeletePraying for y'all! I'm so glad that you know that God is in this adoption even if there are hard times.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!!! He is adorable and you guys look so happy together. Funny how making mud pies is such a natural part of childhood in the south. Love seeing you enjoying life (and I pray for your patience in the not-so-enjoyable times too - hopefully not too many of those). Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHe's just so wonderful!!!!
